Huaaahhh... This is the day. March 31, 2009. Frigie and I have been losing sleep to get to this day. But it turned out that she couldn't come to the presentation, so it's just me, and the other 2 people on the team. The presentation went well. It was funny, and some of it was outrageus. Those people were nutcases, including my boss. Wahahahahahaa... But we're still waiting for the announcement of who the winner is going to be. The Japanese agency was already out. Now it's between us and AdidasMan's team. Oh Great Teacher, whoever wins, you still win too. Haks haks haks... This is crazy, really. *Masih geleng2 kepala*.
After that, all 4 bosses took me to GIGI's 15th Aniversary concert at Jakarta Theater. It was outstanding! The first half of the show was filled by artists and lead singers singing GIGI's songs. I especially loved performances by Glenn Fredly and Fadly Padi. There were also Giring Nidji, Pasha Ungu, Lusy Rahmawaty, BCL, David Naif, Tria Cangchuters, Kaka Slank, Ariel Peterpan, Andy /Rif, Omelette feat. Yoyo Padi, etc. Yoyo was spectacular!! I can't take my eyes from him. He was so energetic. His level was waaaay above the other drummers in Indonesia, maybe even Asia. He's simply great. I respect you, man...
The rest of the half was of GIGI's playing their songs, most of them were new songs. And they haven't lost their touch. When they play 'Nakal', they really brought the house down. Damn!! I love that song! And for the last song, I forgot the title, all personnel, past and present, were on stage and they all played. It was cool. Aww...
I don't know what else to say about them. GIGI is the best band in Indonesia.

Another Monday is here. Another week has started. Last week was kinda tough, but I went through it just fine. Tomorrow is gonna be the climax. I just hope that it will go really well. I pray that we win this project. After all the effort we put into it. Tapi tetep pasrah, manusia berusaha, Allah berkehendak.
My head feels like there's someone hammering my brain out of my head. A paracetamol and a good sleep will make it alright. But not yet, dear Bengal. Your time hasn't yet to come. Be patient. Finish everything tonight along with Frigie, be prepared for tomorrow, give it your more than best shot, then you can have a rest. It's not like you work that hard, right? It takes your time, but you learn a lot from it. Be grateful, Bengal. *I am grateful, dammit!!*
Eh, but I won't refuse a nice cuddle. Aww... Batman, where are you? Gini deh kalo kampret2an pas sama2 ada kerjaan. Kampret yang satu is in event, the other kampret is pitching on an event. Mana gak ada colongan. Heuh... Story of my life..

Remembering Jakarta Fair
Jakarta Fair. Terakhir gue mengunjungi Jakarta Fair adalah saat venuenya masih di Monas. Kebayang gak udah berapa lama? Gileee... That was back when I was still a very small child. Hahaa... It was a luxury for me. Going out til late at night, cotton candy, sweets, traditional cakes, kerak telor, balloons, taking pictures, lifted on the shoulder of my dad, etc. It's probably more than 20 years ago, jeez. I feel old now. My oldest sister and brother were still alive then. My family was still intact. Jakarta Fair for me is a remembrance of my happy moments with my parents and siblings. Seeing that there are only and my brother left now... I miss them all. So much that I want to cry.
Not good this dwelling on the past. Cheer up, Bengal. You have lots of friends, a brother who loves you, and a very cute Lil Bangbag, and a kinda dynamic life. Doing the right or wrong things, it's your life. Live it up, girl!!
*This damn PRJ project is screwing me up*

8 Hours in Starbucks
I thought I've started to make a post yesterday, but it turned out that it wasn't saved. Damn... Might as well it wasn't that long. So, I presented Frigie and my work last night to the bosses. And they want us to refine it. I should say that it wouldn't be just refinement, but major additions. And we have to finish it today. And there are still designs to be made by our art director, Bulldog. He's not an easy person to get along with. Only Frigie can handle him. This one is yours to follow up, cuy...
Right now, we're back in Starbucks, again working on this project. Ambience is really a boosting factor in enabling us to think and be creative. Just being in this place has made me feel better already. Sitting on the sofa, Acer on my lap, grande hot Americano on the table, a little weird music, but it all boost our mood. Hopefully this will result in our finishing this project on time and satisfactorily. Amen...
Shit, it's raining outside. And Frigie and her boyfriend are out grabbing some lunch. I'm staying here to keep our place and work some more, but hey, I am blogging. Hahaa... What so funny when I came here is the fact that there's Om TOA who was here too like I wrote in my previous post, sitting exactly in the same place, and a young Japanese who is sitting also exactly in the same place the last time I saw him the other day. And I am sitting in the same spot too. Guess this is a place for regulars, eh? Pretty cool, I mean to be a regular in Starbucks. Imagine, how much money would be spent here each week? No, month... Damn... But as they say, it's the ambience that we pay for, not just coffee. You get what you pay for. Just be prepared to lose some more here, because there are great Japanese food around. And how I love Japanese food. Ramen, the usual bento set, Japanese breads and cakes, Taiyakis, Takoyakis, Japanese cheesecakes, all Japanese ingredients also available in the supermarket right next to Starbucks, and a karaoke joint on the other side. Heaven...
I'm very hungry, but I can't afford to buy anymore pastries now. Too expensive and not at all full me up. Thinking what to eat, what can be bought outside, at a minimum cost. Hehee... Om Yo gave us 50G each today to buy coffee and other refreshments. But apparently it won't be enough. Come on... *Sigh*. At the moment, Frigie is taking a dump, she went to the toilet upstairs. Her stomach reacts to coffee almost instantly, hehe. Her boyfriend went home 5 minutes ago. Still struggling with this presentation we're supposed to finish. Actually, Frigie is the one who makes this. I'm just backing her up. See, I give credits where it's due. Not like some other people who like to claim others' work as theirs. Weww... ;)
There's a bunch of kids sitting next to our table. Two boys and a girl wearing hijab. But what surprises me and Frigie is that this girl keeps swearing and saying 'Anjing!'. Even I only say 'Anjrit!' to soften it, to make it less offensive. Kids nowadays... *Sigh*.
Change of position: we are sitting on the carpet. Wakakakakakakakaa... Ndesonya lama-lama keluar juga. Xixixixixi... Cueklah. Bayar ini. Lagian kan disini mau kerja sambil santai. Makin nyaman, makin enak konsentrasinya. *Halahh, cari alasan mode on*.
Hm, now we've been here for 8 hours. Time to grab a very late lunch and go back to our office to continue working. Lama-lama malu juga, cuy. Xixixixixixi... Yuk ah. Starbucks, makasih ya udah jadi tempat tenang gue n Frigie ngerjain presentasi ini. Mayan juga duit yang keluar hari ini selama 8 jam terakhir. Weww...

One Working Holiday
At the moment, I'm working on that Fairlady project with Frigie in a Starbucks outlet. Change of scenery and ambience, secara ini hari libur gettooooh. At least we're feeling kinda refreshed. Actually, today is Frigie's birthday. But I made her go out and work with me. Sorry about that, cuy. Hehee... So, let me just say, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CUY. WISH YOU ALL THE BEST".
Gak mantap aja kali ye. So we decided to go home. They dropped me off at PIM. I took time to go to Gramedia and browsed the shelves. I bought Budiman Hakim's Sex After Dugem and a chicklit novel, I forgot the title as well as the author, as I grabbed it at the last second before I got to the cashier. And now I'm soooo happy because I have new books. Life is so simple sometimes, ya. New books can give me the high. A stolen kiss can give me the blush. *Grins*.

Today Frigie asked something about Consumer Behavior. That was my one of my favorite subject back when I was still in college. Can't say I could explain it that well, but at least it made me want to relearn it. Consumer Behavior is fun, dynamic, not boring at all. I got an A for it. Hehee...
Must finish the presentation soon. So many things to put into it. So many things still unavailable. So little time left. And so little brain to work on it. *Bete kok otaknya gak pinter lagi mode on*. I swear I'll try to finish it ASAP. Actually, I have to finish it tomorrow. Frigie, don't forget about our date tomorrow. Sorry to spoil your birthday and holiday. Ehehehee...
Going home now. Want to finish early and maybe try to catch a ride. Not in a good mood to see them now. I dunno, suddenly I'm feeling reluctant. Gue ngerepotin mereka banget gak sih? Heuh...

Hysterical and Hyped Moments

Hari ini kepala gue mau pecah. Ditambah lagi sama pengalaman buruk gue semalem. Anj*ng!!! Again, I fought with Alv. And I still have the bruise on my left arm and neck. Someday I might kill that asshole!! God please grant me patience. And please make him let me go. Amen.
It's all cliche. It sucks. He sucks. That's all there is to it. Fuckin brute!! And that pic above is the proof of it. Period. He's such a psycho. He threatened to punch me with a brutal expression on his face. So what if I said no? I have a right to say no. He does not have a right to make me do what he wants every time. He looked sorry afterward. But I just felt nothing. Whatever he said, he couldn't move me. He can't move me anymore. It's all charity from now on. If he forced me to stay with him, that's all he'd get. He won't get love, care, attention, kind words, or whatever those things he wants from me. Just be prepared to get hurt, babe. I hate you. You blackmail me, I have my way to retaliate. Take it...
And now, on to the cool things. So, I spent today mostly with the guys in the other division. Had to transfer my files in the Lenovo into the Acer, the boss wanted me to switch laptop. Again. Hah! And then had a meeting there too. And then waiting for my ride buddies to finish as I always get a hitch from them to get halfway home. Hehee...
While waiting for Bos Noy to finish, I spent the time by browsing, going back and forth to Doyok's desk, and petting (uh) with Batman, *wink, wink*. Somehow, the place was almost empty, and I couldn't help myself when I was browsing. The cubicle was kinda separated and people could hardly see us from the opening. I scooted over and kiss Batman. Hahaaa... The look on his face was priceless!! But then when I pulled away, he pulled me back and kissed me again. My heartbeat was like Buddy Holly drumming in the climax of his songs. And to top it all off, the guys was drinking, and I had drunk Batman's beer mixed with Lychee before. What a potent mixture. And delicious!! *Evil grins*. Then Bos Noy shouted for him. My eyes were tired so I moved to lay down on the sofa. I took a position in a kinda secluded corner and closed my eyes. I guess I fell asleep, because then I felt a hand on my head. I opened my eyes, Batman was sitting and stroking my hair. I didn't even know when he got there. After checking on the situation and make sure that it was safe, we continue kissing and a little petting. Something to be noted, the sofa might be secluded from the other workers, but it was facing right to the street outside. Anyone passing by were definitely able to see us. But who cares, right? Xixixixixi... Adrenaline rush. It really gave us the high. Damn... I just hope that I'm not addicted to it.
Went home at about 10 pm. He called me again after midnite, and we did that two-lettered sound thingy. What a day. And what a night. A way better alternative than my usual days. Nice intermezzo. It's enough for me. After that freakin' manhandling with Alv the night before, at last I can smile again. Cihuuuy... :p
