8 Hours in Starbucks

I thought I've started to make a post yesterday, but it turned out that it wasn't saved. Damn... Might as well it wasn't that long. So, I presented Frigie and my work last night to the bosses. And they want us to refine it. I should say that it wouldn't be just refinement, but major additions. And we have to finish it today. And there are still designs to be made by our art director, Bulldog. He's not an easy person to get along with. Only Frigie can handle him. This one is yours to follow up, cuy...

Right now, we're back in Starbucks, again working on this project. Ambience is really a boosting factor in enabling us to think and be creative. Just being in this place has made me feel better already. Sitting on the sofa, Acer on my lap, grande hot Americano on the table, a little weird music, but it all boost our mood. Hopefully this will result in our finishing this project on time and satisfactorily. Amen...

Shit, it's raining outside. And Frigie and her boyfriend are out grabbing some lunch. I'm staying here to keep our place and work some more, but hey, I am blogging. Hahaa... What so funny when I came here is the fact that there's Om TOA who was here too like I wrote in my previous post, sitting exactly in the same place, and a young Japanese who is sitting also exactly in the same place the last time I saw him the other day. And I am sitting in the same spot too. Guess this is a place for regulars, eh? Pretty cool, I mean to be a regular in Starbucks. Imagine, how much money would be spent here each week? No, month... Damn... But as they say, it's the ambience that we pay for, not just coffee. You get what you pay for. Just be prepared to lose some more here, because there are great Japanese food around. And how I love Japanese food. Ramen, the usual bento set, Japanese breads and cakes, Taiyakis, Takoyakis, Japanese cheesecakes, all Japanese ingredients also available in the supermarket right next to Starbucks, and a karaoke joint on the other side. Heaven...

I'm very hungry, but I can't afford to buy anymore pastries now. Too expensive and not at all full me up. Thinking what to eat, what can be bought outside, at a minimum cost. Hehee... Om Yo gave us 50G each today to buy coffee and other refreshments. But apparently it won't be enough. Come on... *Sigh*. At the moment, Frigie is taking a dump, she went to the toilet upstairs. Her stomach reacts to coffee almost instantly, hehe. Her boyfriend went home 5 minutes ago. Still struggling with this presentation we're supposed to finish. Actually, Frigie is the one who makes this. I'm just backing her up. See, I give credits where it's due. Not like some other people who like to claim others' work as theirs. Weww... ;)

There's a bunch of kids sitting next to our table. Two boys and a girl wearing hijab. But what surprises me and Frigie is that this girl keeps swearing and saying 'Anjing!'. Even I only say 'Anjrit!' to soften it, to make it less offensive. Kids nowadays... *Sigh*.

Change of position: we are sitting on the carpet. Wakakakakakakakaa... Ndesonya lama-lama keluar juga. Xixixixixi... Cueklah. Bayar ini. Lagian kan disini mau kerja sambil santai. Makin nyaman, makin enak konsentrasinya. *Halahh, cari alasan mode on*.

Hm, now we've been here for 8 hours. Time to grab a very late lunch and go back to our office to continue working. Lama-lama malu juga, cuy. Xixixixixixi... Yuk ah. Starbucks, makasih ya udah jadi tempat tenang gue n Frigie ngerjain presentasi ini. Mayan juga duit yang keluar hari ini selama 8 jam terakhir. Weww...
